SOLAR EXTENSION CORD, 1x6mm² RED 5m

Very high quality solar extension cord on a flexible cable single-core designed for photovoltaic installations, with a stranded copper conductor – twisted wire, insulated and sheathed in cross-linked halogen-free material; it features high environmental durability and resistance to the harmful effects of UV radiation and weather conditions. Combined with an MC4 type connector, it provides a stable and secure connection, and is also resistant to mechanical damage, ensuring a long service life of the extension cord.

Applications: in PV installations, connections between photovoltaic modules, between module strings and for connecting module arrays to the inverter; for wiring any type of photovoltaic system.

The extension cord can be used both indoors and outdoors, as well as directly underground. The expected service life is 25 years. Cable manufactured in accordance with the stringent European standard EN 50618 – only such cables are approved for use in PV installations for safety reasons. (only properly manufactured cables that have undergone long-term testing, hold certification from an accredited laboratory and meet such demanding requirements).

• holds the HAR certificate – a reserved European mark confirming that the cables meet the requirements of the relevant stringent European standards (EN)
• meets the stringent requirements of PN-EN 50618 and PN-EN 60228 standards, and also achieves a very high fire reaction class (only cables complying with EN 50618 are designated H1Z2Z2-K and meet safety standards, therefore use only certified cables that will protect you from damage to very expensive solar equipment)

• operating temperature range: max. -40°C to +90°C
• max. conductor temperature during operation: +120°C
• max. conductor temperature during short circuit: +250°C
