Extension Cord with Energy Meter on a durable neoprene cable, perfect for locations where energy consumption monitoring is required. The value of energy consumed is easy to read from the LCD display; the meter shows consumption with an accuracy of hundredths.

A special electronic circuit generates pulses proportional to the electrical energy drawn, based on the flowing current and applied voltage. Energy consumption is indicated by a blinking LED. The number of pulses is converted into consumed energy, and its value is shown on a segmented LCD display. Digits after the decimal point represent hundredths (.01 kWh = 10 Wh).

The Power Distribution Unit with meter is mounted approximately 50cm from the plug.

(There is the possibility of customising the extension cord to individual needs, i.e. mounting the Power Distribution Unit at any chosen distance from the plug)

Thanks to its properties, the extension cord can be used:

• both for personal, home use; in the garden, garage/workshop for power tools such as drills, circular saws, electric motors
• as well as in public buildings such as: hospitals, schools, production halls, shopping centres, farms,
• for powering mass events: for stage and audiovisual equipment
• also on construction sites with low-power tools
• in holiday cottages or campsites

Thanks to the use of a neoprene cable together with a high quality socket and PCE plug, and a Power Distribution Unit with a high IP65 Protection Rating, in which the meter is installed, the extension cord can be safely used in places where it is exposed to mechanical damage as well as various oils and greases. It is reliable in harsh weather conditions, in dry and damp locations both indoors and outdoors.
